Since January, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has been challenged by a series of events that have diminished our legitimacy, community trust and confidence. Recently, Mayor Ballard, Chief Ciesielski and the Director of Public Safety announced a series of reform initiatives to address the issues raised by these events.
The Director discusses the reform initiatives, their implementation, and the progress being made by the Department of Public Safety / Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department to address community concerns.
