We had an awesome meeting this month and are gearing up for some great community projects. The first two that should be on your calendar are the Rotary Day at Gleaners on March 13th and the Rotary Race for the Cure on April 17th.

The Rotary Day at Gleaners is headed by Sheila Carlson where we will try to break our last year records of boxing 1320 boxes of supplemental food for distribution to Seniors and 1200 back sacks for kids to take home to have food for the weekend. We work fast! While we are indoors, dress warm and in layers. The outside and inside temperatures don’t vary too much. And definitely wear closed-toed shoes; don’t want boxes falling on toes. The more hands the more we can service!

Our participation in Race for the Cure is in the walking mode…there are some sleep-in participants too! Contact Lucia Carter (lcarter@globalwps.com) to send in your check to participate with a t-shirt or sleep in with a t-shirt. All monies go to a great cause…more fun when we are all together!
